Clarice Tinsley Journalism Scholarship

While millions of viewers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area know Clarice Tinsley for her work as a FOX4 News Anchor, the State Fair of Texas recognizes Clarice as a longtime friend and supporter of its Youth Scholarship Program. The Clarice Tinsley Scholarship is awarded to one outstanding applicant – a current Pete Schenkel Scholarship recipient who is pursuing a degree in journalism. Eligible students may apply during the spring semester of their sophomore year. The recipient will receive the Clarice Tinsley Scholarship starting the fall semester of his/her junior year. The recipient will receive an additional $6,000 disbursed over two years starting the fall semester of his/her junior year. Assuming the recipient is on track to graduate in four years (eight semesters), he/she will receive payments of $1,500 per semester for his/her remaining four semesters.
